AVP, FP&A Supply Chain Fulfilment Lead Overview Key Responsibilities: The FP&A leader will guide the cross-business accountability to ensure cost, billings, system enhancements and project and assignment tagging is efficient, correct, and client focused. KPIs include time to fill, cost to serve, candidates to open roles, attrition rates, and low cancellation rates. Improving the supply chain throughput and efficiency on thousands of staffing decisions a week can be a $100M / year impact. This role is the source of truth on the throughput from role being posted, cost to procure, speed to staff, and proper assignment tagging ie billable, awaiting, KT, Proposal, etc. Supply Chain Financial Oversight and Leadership: Partner with Cognizant Ops, Talent, Staffing, and service line executives to build financial models, conduct valuation analysis and assess the financial impact of different fulfillment approaches which are impacted by soft skills and detailed technical automation . Develop new KPIs that drive accountability of how project and people assignments are defined and governed Rethink and combine resource primary and secondary tagging scenarios ie for all billed and unbilled categories including the governance to move resources amongst the categories Act as key advisor to CFO and CHRO as to speed of staffing and returns on new processes and technology Process Transformation: Collaborate with Service Line COOs along with Ops Excellence in a trusting manner to educate all on the current gaps in the process and identify AI, automation, and system improvements which drive savings of our cost of delivery (COD) Build and manage sophisticated financial models to forecast ROI of fulfillment pull-through Develop and manage fulfillment budget, ensuring it aligns with Corp Functions VP, Finance and impact to SG&A Work closely with L&D, HR and operations to ensure financial strategies are integrated and support overall business objectives Reporting and Insights: Work closely with the technology team to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems that provide key financial insights out of ESA to re-design bench management, assignment tagging, and reason codes Present financial report to senior management highlighting trends, risks and opportunities Maintain strong internal controls over financial process and reporting related cross functional budgets and the ROI of more efficient staffing, that is lower cost to hire, quicker fulfillment and reduce hundreds of hours of reconciliation Required Capabilities/Skills/Years of Experience: 15+ years finance experience; with minimum 12 years in leadership roles focused on financial planning and analysis Previous experience within a large, global, highly matrixed corporate environment Demonstrated success in designing and developing financial modelling, analysis and reporting models with clear understanding of time to revenue and how to plan staffing off of large win TCV deals. Functional Knowledge: Deep Understanding of Finance sub-functions, financial statements, planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, supply chain, fulfillment, organizational structure, and key responsibilities Communication and Presence: Effective communication skills to clearly articulate vision; building and leading effective teams across various geographies. Build trust with TSC and COOs to drive actions on bench and pyramid. Not a caretaker Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with multiple business units and across multiple geographies Industry and Business Knowledge: Knowledge of various IT technologies, impact on industry verticals, demand and supply Analytical prowess: Analytical skills to develop insights and recommendation from quantitative data. Master ESA, Insight Compass, and Winzone in order to understand the flow of supply in our systems Relationship management: Ability to consult and manage multiple business stakeholders; leverages strong presence and communication skills M&A expertise: Deep understanding of M&A processes, ensuring that financial systems, process and policies are harmonized effectively in order to have a smooth staffing to revenue conversion
