Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain a large Tidal Enterprise Scheduler environment.
- Provide support and guidance to users for best practices and product features.
- Troubleshoot failed installs of the agent, job failures and dependency streams in Realtime or Batch.
- Good knowledge of administration, creation and maintenance of calendars, review and implementation of all IT job processing, optimization of job schedules, monitoring, and reporting, as well as analysis of job failures.
- Identify product defects and enhancements and implement solutions/features as needed.
- Proactively identify issues and bottlenecks to ensure environment stability.
- Develop enhanced monitoring tools and logging.
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports for metrics and trend analysis to management.
- Responsible for implementing job streams with complex dependencies and managing complex calendar schedules using the Tidal Enterprise Scheduler.
- Oversee all operational activities for enterprise system applications in scope, meeting required deadlines.
- Responsible for overseeing the restart and rerun of all production jobs, creating, and maintaining accurate documentation, including all job dependencies, and the development and maintenance of standard operation procedures.
- Understands the business requirements and structures plans, processes, and procedures to address customer requests quickly and effectively within audit guidelines.
- Escalates problems as necessary and provides timely status until transferred or resolved.
- Monitor and respond to alarms, assess impact, troubleshoot, and resolve problems. Escalate to subject matter experts when required, utilizing an established guide.
- Good knowledge in Tidal REST API configuration and upgrade and patching process.
- Install and Upgrade various Tidal Components like Primary Master, Backup Master, Fault Monitor and Client Manager.
- TIDAL Job Creations/ Configuration / Setting up automated actions and events based on the requirements.
