Senior Structural Design Engineer (Civil) @ Buro Engineers

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and draftsmen under the guidance of Team Leaders
• Handle various projects from concept to completion, including preliminary and final designs, checking critical design areas and solving special design and field problems
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and best practices
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications and cost estimates
• Mentor and train junior engineers and draftsmen

Skills and Qualifications

• ME (Struct) with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.PRO, REVIT, AutoCAD and other software tools
• Knowledge of structural analysis, design and detailing of high-rise building structures
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preference

• Candidates with RCC & Steel Structures design experience is preferred.
• Candidates present in Chennai with two wheelers are preferred.
