Job Description
Roles and Responsibility
Candidate would primarily be involved in:
- Litigation Management: Manage and oversee any legal disputes or litigation, including IP litigation, police complaints that may arise, and working with external counsel as necessary;
- To prepare defense/ in-house reply to legal notice/show cause notices/demand notice from parties / regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for resolving customers escalations;
- Provide a timely update on case status in MIS in a clear understandable manner.
- Regulatory Liaison: Engage with regulatory authorities and agencies as necessary to represent the company& interests and stay informed about industry developments.
- Real Estate - draft and vet MoUs, Agreements, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Rent/Lease/Leave & License Agreements
- Minimize risk and ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
- Proactively provide legal opinion as needed, conduct legal research and where necessary, work with outside counsel for advice on complex matters and local laws/regulations
- Support Legal Head on strategic legal advice and process improvement
- IP experience is added advantage
Skills Required
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant exposure to manufacturing and e-commerce setups.
- Should have exposure to handling corporate legal matters and hands-on experience drafting various kinds of legal agreements/ business contracts
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong organization and analytical skills. Attention to detail
- Ideal candidate is highly flexible, proactive, comfortable with large amounts of information and documentation, adept at managing expectations, and able to set and adjust priorities as needed while working with internal organizations as well as customers.
