Senior Full Stack PHP Engineer @ HappyLocate

Job Description

This is a full-time, for a full-stack PHP Engineer. This role will require the candidate to be based in Bengaluru, India with flexibility for some remote work. The Full Stack PHP Engineer will be responsible for back-end and front-end (Angular) web development, preferably PHP, Laravel & Angular 4 and above working with cascading style sheets (CSS).

Must-Have Skills

Deep knowledge of PHP & AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience.
Experience with RESTful services.
4+ years of Experience with PHP and above
Develop web pages using technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, CSS frameworks, Typescript, AJAX.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes to code.
Coordinate with the backend team to accomplish tasks on agile processes.
Optimize application for maximum speed and compatibility.
Multitask seamlessly, always maintaining a positive attitude and a client-first mentality.
Incorporate engineering best practices, methodologies & standards in all deliverables.
Work with a performance-oriented team driven by ownership and open to experiments.
Develop a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem
Good understanding of Web application security
Experience in working with databases - SQL

Nice to Have

Working knowledge of Bitbucket or version control
Knowledge of PHP is added advantage
Knowledge of SEO and third-party integration
Good understanding of OOP, and design patterns

Job Responsibilities :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Creating cross-browser compliant front-end code.
Support site rollouts and be available to resolve site issues.
