Job Description

Position Overview:


This position is responsible for performing audits in accordance with the audit plan, as well as administration of the vendor approval system, the Developing personnel Authorization system in the EMO (Engine Maintenance Organization) CAR 145/EASA Part 145 and FAA Part as per staff training requirements.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct procedure and process audits, compile audit reports.
  • Monitor corrective action plans and ensure implementation thereof.
  • Audit local and international suppliers to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and requirements.
  • Formulate proposed changes to the (SOP) and administer the necessary approved forms.
  • Evaluate applications for certification by the C/C/s staff and administer the certification Board session related questionnaires.
  • Assist AMO staff on matters of certification and administer the related processes.
  • Assist in Issuing Company Approvals as required, assist in drafting Certifying Staff list as required by the SAESI policy.
  • Monitor the SAESI compliance to establish Safety and Quality standards, issue incident or non-compliance reports if required.
  • Monitor the EMO operation to ensure staff safety and company compliance.
  • Administer the EMO staff training requirements, conduct a gap analysis and source approved service providers to meet these requirements in conjunction with the Training Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Diploma in AME / BE/B.Tech -Aeronautical Qualification
  • Completed recognized Lead auditing course (ISO 9001: 2015)/training and on Occurrence and investigation (MEDA), with minimum 5 years experience as an auditor in AMO (Part 145).
  • Sound Knowledge of Quality Systems / Root Cause Analysis/Occurrence reporting and investigation
  • Working knowledge of aeronautical standards, processes, procedures, and Regulatory Authority requirements such as DGCA India (CAR 145), EASA and FAA.
  • Excellent English communication skills, ability to express ideas and concepts both verbally and in high level report writing.
  • PC literate, good working knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel, Power Point
