Mandatory Skills:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead/Architect (SFMC Architect/Lead), With over 8 years of hands-on experience in the Marketing Cloud domain, encompassing a minimum of 4 successful Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, and a proven track record in architecting solutions for client projects.

1. Responsibilities:

The role responsibilities of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect include:

• Designing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities. This involves understanding client needs, assessing technical feasibility, and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Developing and documenting system architectures for Marketing Cloud implementations, including data models, integration points, and workflow processes. Ensuring that the architecture aligns with best practices and scalability requirements.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers, consultants, and administrators. Ensuring that solutions are implemented according to industry standards and best practices.
• Designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems, such as CRM platforms, data warehouses, and third-party applications. Ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
• Customizing and configuring Marketing Cloud solutions to meet specific client needs. This includes setting up email templates, creating customer journeys, configuring automation workflows, and implementing personalization strategies.
• Overseeing data management processes within Marketing Cloud, including data modelling, segmentation, and synchronization. Ensuring data quality and integrity across the platform.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements. Translating these requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

2. Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform with multi-org environment, including its various modules such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, Audience Builder, and Analytics Builder.
• Ability to design and implement complex data models within Marketing Cloud, including data extensions, data relationships, and data synchronization. Experience with integrating Marketing Cloud with other systems and databases, ensuring seamless data flow and integration using APIs, RESTful services, or middleware platforms.
• Experience in designing integrations between Marketing Cloud products and the client's architecture. Data Mapping & Systems integration experience into marketing automation and service tools.
• Expertise in customizing and configuring Marketing Cloud solutions to meet business requirements, including designing email templates, creating customer journeys, and setting up automation workflows. Capable of developing technical integration approaches, including data flow and architectural diagrams/visuals.
• Skilled in designing and implementing marketing automation solutions using Automation Studio, including triggered emails, drip campaigns, and dynamic content. Able to develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to showcase technical solutions.
• Understanding of system architecture principles for designing scalable and resilient Marketing Cloud solutions. Proficient in modelling processes, architecture, data structures, and information required to support client projects. Develop enterprise-grade information architecture and processes utilizing Salesforce application technology.
• Design integrations between Marketing Cloud and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and integration. Develop technical integration approaches and oversee the development and configuration of Marketing Cloud solutions. Ensure data mapping and systems integration into marketing automation and service tools.
• Experience working in an Agile project environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions iteratively and adaptively.
• Solid experience of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize email templates and develop responsive designs for Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of AMPscript language for dynamic content and personalization, as well as SQL for querying and manipulating data within Marketing Cloud data extensions.
• Experience in setting up and managing SMS and mobile push notification campaigns using Mobile Studio, including audience segmentation, message creation, and delivery scheduling.
• Familiar with several areas of Salesforce and the Force.com Platform e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, enabling effective collaboration and integration with other Salesforce products and functionalities.

3. Work Experience:

With over 8 years of hands-on experience in the Marketing Cloud domain, encompassing a minimum of 4 successful Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, and a proven track recordin architectingsolutions for client projects.
