: PHP Backend Developer Responsibilities Web Development: Develop and maintain efficient front-end and back-end components of our web applications using PHP. Ensure the scalability and performance of web applications for seamless user experiences. API Design and Development: Create and maintain APIs to support web functionalities and facilitate third-party integrations. Database Management: Work with both relational and non-relational databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data effectively. Code Optimization: Optimize existing PHP codebase for enhanced performance and scalability. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in PHP code to guarantee the smooth operation of our web applications. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to deliver cohesive and high-quality software solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for. PHP-based software, ensuring clarity and accessibility. Staying Updated: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in PHP development. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 4 years of experience in PHP development. Proficiency in PHP and familiarity with popular frameworks like Laravel or Symfony. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular is a plus. Strong knowledge of database design and management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
