Senior Backend Engineer/.Net Developer @ Advansoft

Job Description This is a full-time in-person position in Kolkata, the working hours will be 11-8PM. We ask for this timing to ensure you get enough time with our management based in the United States. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer. This should be someone who either has strong technical skills and experience working as a senior backend engineer at firms that have built scalable and highly available products with thousands of daily active users. We need someone who is hungry to learn, and build some of the most state-of-art products the transportation industry has to offer. You will be working with our existing web & mobile teams. Job Role You must be able to work autonomously Working on C# .NET Core backend products (Rest APIs, Websocket Servers, TCP Servers, Microservices) Working on complex products with hardware components: Electronic Logging Devices, Accident Prevention Cameras, Fleet Management Routing Applications Must have a very strong eye for. detail, as well as a strong ability to personally test through products. Being able to maintain and build on top of existing backend services Able to work with design documentation, and other developers in our teams to bring customers projects into production. Experience with scaling applications. Experience with hardware products is a plus Experience with video-streaming and low-latency messaging is a plus Education & Experience Experience with AWS or Azure to set up highly-available cloud based backend systems 2+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer Must have experience working with systems that have thousands of daily active users Ability to work with a team of remote-developers to define, design, and ship new features and applications Graduate degree from an accredited university with a Computer Science background Proven track record supporting or working with a team on complex features and applications Experience with source code version control such as Git.
