Job Description

Responsibilities: Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and associated components. Database Objects: Create and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures. Backup and Recovery: Perform database backups, restores, and recovery operations as necessary to ensure data integrity and availability. Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance, health, and security, and optimize database resources to enhance efficiency. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks promptly to minimize downtime. Security Implementation: Implement and enforce database security policies, access controls, and data encryption measures to safeguard sensitive information. Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries for optimal performance. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Oracle database. technologies, best practices, and patches to ensure the database environment remains secure and efficient. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Oracle database administrator, demonstrating proficiency in database administration tasks. Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL programming languages. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills essential for effective database management. Skills: Oracle Database Administration: Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle database software. Database Performance Tuning: Skilled in monitoring and optimizing database performance and resource utilization. Database Security: Experienced in implementing and enforcing database security controls and policies. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with development and operations teams to optimize database performance. Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification, indicating advanced proficiency in Oracle database administration
