Job Description: Job Designation / Role: Data QA Engineer Job Location: Ahmedabad, Hyderabad Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data QA Engineer with extensive experience in Big Data testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality assurance, exceptional SQL skills, proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java, and a solid understanding of AWS cloud services. Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience working with Big Data technologies, particularly in data pipelines utilizing Spark. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for Big Data systems and applications. Conduct end-to-end testing of data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and manipulations within Big Data frameworks. Design and implement. automated test scripts using Python or Java to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Perform regression testing to identify and resolve issues in data pipelines and applications. Utilize AWS cloud services for testing and deployment of Big Data solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and processing. Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement of data quality and system performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on testing Big Data systems and applications. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and validation. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or Java for test automation. Basic understanding of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, EMR, and Glue. Familiarity with Big Data technologies, particularly Spark for data processing and analytics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
