QA Engineer (web3) Location- Bangalore (Work from office) Experience - 2+ years Job Overview: As a Web3 QA engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications in the decentralized, blockchain-based environment. You will be responsible for executing testing procedures, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams to ensure a seamless and secure user experience within the Web3 ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Smart contract Testing: Verify the correctness and reliability of smart contracts and on-chain transactions. Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats specific to Web3 environments. Collaborate with security experts to ensure the robustness of decentralized applications against common security risks. Interoperability Testing: Validate the interoperability of Web3 applications with various blockchain networks and decentralized protocols. Ensure seamless. communication and data exchange between different components of the Web3 ecosystem. User Experience (UX) Testing: Assess and enhance the user experience of Web3 applications by providing feedback on UI/UX design and usability. Identify and report any user interface inconsistencies or issues that may affect user satisfaction. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of testing requirements and results. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality Web3 applications. Requirements: Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in Web3 or blockchain-related projects. Solid understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Familiarity with popular blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum etc. Experience testing a variety of web applications, RestAPIs and data flows. Strong knowledge of security testing principles and methodologies. Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks relevant to Web3 testing for e.g. :- Hardhat, etherscan, Remix, Truffle. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and stay updated on the latest trends in Web3. Education and Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in blockchain and software testing are a plus.
