Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Application Developer with strong expertise in hybrid mobile development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that work across both Android and iOS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance hybrid mobile applications using Cordova and Sugar Mobile SDK
- Integrate Cordova plug-ins to access native mobile features
- Work across the full application stackfrom UI to backend logic
- Consume and process REST/SOAP web services (XML/JSON)
- Optimize app performance for various devices
- Implement mobile app security protocols
- Ensure responsive design across screen sizes
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Candidates with experience in the Cordova framework will be given preference
- Experience working with the Sugar Mobile SDK will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Cordova plug-ins and device integration
- Good knowledge of SQLite and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Familiarity with Android and iOS development environments
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, or similar UI frameworks
- Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience in mobile performance tuning and optimization
- Experience in implementing security features in mobile apps
