Node API Developer @ Swaas Systems

Job Description

• Extensive knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices..
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API development using Node.js and Express.
• Strong proficiency in Core JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Expertise in at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Familiarity with modern ECMAScript specifications.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in NestJS is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest (a plus)..
• Familiarity with ORM tools like Sequelize or TypeORM (a plus).
• Experience with Redis, AWS S3, or SQS (a plus).

• Deliver features and user stories within estimated timelines.
• Develop and maintain unit tests for API components.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM processes, including sprint planning and task estimation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
