Job Description

: We are seeking a talented MongoDB Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing MongoDB databases in a production environment. As a MongoDB Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of MongoDB instances across our organization. You will work closely with development teams to provide database support, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB instances in production environments Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and caching strategies Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for MongoDB databases Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner Collaborate with development teams to design. and implement database schemas, indexes, and data migrations Implement and enforce security best practices for MongoDB databases, including access control, encryption, and auditing Stay current with MongoDB releases, patches, and best practices, and implement upgrades as necessary Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Participate in on-call rotation for database-related emergencies Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of experience managing MongoDB databases in a production environment Solid understanding of MongoDB architecture, replication, sharding, and clustering Proficiency in MongoDB query language (MQL) and administration tools (e.g., mongodump, mongorestore) Experience with MongoDB monitoring and management tools (e.g., MongoDB Ops Manager, Atlas) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team MongoDB certification (e.g., MongoDB Certified DBA) is a plus
