We are seeking an experienced Node JS Developer to join our team and assist in the scaling and improvement of products within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead and mentor a development team. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software systems; Build complex systems from scratch; Ensure high scalability and performance; Write high performance, modular, and testable code; Lead and mentor a team of developers to build and release product features; Develop and maintain technical documentation. and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices; Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and identify opportunities to improve our capabilities; Work closely with other engineers and the product team to implement and maintain backend systems. Requirements Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science; 5+ years experience in Javascript as a backend engineer; 4+ years experience using Node.js & MongoDB; Experience in building REST APIs, SOLID, DRY, KISS; Experience in code review and writing documentation skills; Excellent with data modeling and writing complex MongoDB queries to work with large amounts of data; Expertise in building scalable, secure architecture to suit product requirements; Prior experience in a start-up ecosystem will be preferred; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
