Job Description

Must have DB development skills with PostgreSQL Performance Tuning and Optimization:** Proven ability to analyze and optimize SQL queries, database schema, and system configurations to enhance overall database performance. Implement and fine-tune indexing strategies to improve query response times and minimize resource utilization. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring the database meets or exceeds performance SLAs. Expertise in PostgreSQL Administration: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL database administration, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Possess in-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL internals and optimization techniques for maximizing database performance. Experience with managing large-scale, high-availability PostgreSQL clusters and implementing effective backup and recovery strategies. Nice To Have Data Security and Compliance Implement and enforce database security best practices, ensuring data. integrity and confidentiality. Stay abreast of industry security standards and compliance requirements, and implement measures to meet or exceed them. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to proactively address potential risks. High Availability and Disaster Recover Design and implement robust high-availability and disaster recovery solutions to ensure database uptime and data integrity. Experience with replication, clustering, and failover configurations to minimize downtime and provide seamless failover capabilities. Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery procedures to guarantee system resilience in the event of data loss or system failures Collaboration and Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to understand and address database requirements. Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to a positive team environment
