Minimum experience:- 3-5 years of experience in direct tax compliance, consulting, or a related field. Education:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field. Skillset:- Good communication skills Proficiency with MS Office IMMEDIATE JOINERS REQUIRED FULL TIME Profile Introduction: The Assistant Manager in Direct Tax plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the direct tax operations within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and providing support in tax planning activities. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of direct tax returns, including income tax, withholding tax, and other related tax filings. . Analyze tax implications of business transactions and provide recommendations to optimize tax efficiency. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks. Assist in tax audits and assessments, responding to inquiries from tax authorities, and resolving tax disputes. Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and operations to provide tax advice and support on various business initiatives. Prepare and maintain documentation related to tax positions, transfer pricing, and other tax-related matters. Assist in the implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize the overall tax liability of the organization. Conduct research on tax issues and provide guidance to management on tax planning opportunities and risks. Requirements: Strong understanding of direct tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations to business scenarios. Effective communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external parties such as tax authorities and auditors. Proficiency in using tax software and MS Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential tax information.
