Job Description

SurveySparrow is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to take the helm of our Infrastructure Operations and Security. As a Cloud Engineer with extensive AWS knowledge and a background in product environments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure, taking charge of its architecture and scalability to meet the demands of our products. Develop and maintain robust security strategies, policies, and practices to safeguard our cloud environment. Proactively identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities. Lead the operations team in managing day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and disaster recovery. Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to maintain cost efficiency while meeting performance requirements. Provide technical leadership and guidance to. cross-functional teams, helping them navigate cloud-related challenges and facilitating seamless deployments. Stay current with cloud services, best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements to our cloud infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, implementing governance processes where necessary. Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions to enhance the team's cloud infrastructure expertise. Requirements Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in a product based environment. Strong expertise in AWS services and knowledge of GCP and Azure is nice to have. Proven track record in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management. In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and experience in implementing security controls. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automation and CI/CD (Jenkins). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
