Azure Databricks Developer - Synapse Analytics @ Forward Eye

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Databricks Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions using Azure Databricks. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to develop scalable and efficient data pipelines, data processing workflows, and analytics Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks. Collaborate with data engineers to optimize and enhance data processing workflows. Implement data transformations, aggregations, and manipulations to prepare data for analytics and reporting. Work closely with data scientists to deploy machine learning models and integrate them into data pipelines. Perform performance tuning and optimization of Spark. jobs running on Azure Databricks clusters. Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the reliability and availability of data solutions. Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in big data and cloud Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Databricks Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and Scala/Python programming languages. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and job scheduling. Experience with data ingestion techniques and technologies, such as Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or Azure Data Factory. Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, SQL Server). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Machine Learning. Knowledge of big data technologies and architectures (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
