What part will you play As the Lead UX Designer at Siemens, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our diverse range of products and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and. stakeholders to ensure that our user-centered design approach aligns with business goals and user needs. With your extensive experience, you will lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from conceptualization to final implementation, for our products and solutions. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project goals, user requirements, and success metrics. Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively. Drive the development of a cohesive design system that ensures consistency and enhances the overall user experience. Provide design guidance and feedback to your team members, ensuring the quality and alignment of design deliverables. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions. Present design concepts and strategies to internal teams and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating as needed. Champion user-centered design principles within the organization and advocate for the importance of a seamless user experience. We dont need superheroes, just super minds. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field. 8-10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing successful products and solutions. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability principles. Experience leading and mentoring design teams, fostering collaboration and growth. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive design solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs. Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
