Jr. Network Engineer Role (Network Infrastructure Monitoring) We are seeking to hire a Jr. Network Engineer. Experienced in L1 & L1.5 Network Engineer with a proven track record of success in providing technical support and resolving network-related issues. EXP 1 to 3 YRS Responsibilities: Shift Coverage 24x7 Rotational shift Providing first level Network Support to the clients and their users over phone and emails. Monitoring the network devices like Routers, switches, and Access Points for network usage and network performance. Generating network utilization graph and sharing the report to client as per their request. Acknowledging the alerts, emails, tickets and send initial response to the client within SLAs. Classifying the alerts as per the defined standard (Incident/Request/Critical / Warning). Escalating or assigning the cases to the respective teams (L2/L3) as per the escalation matrix. Shall communicate effectively with the client, providing a. customer-first approach regarding updates on incidents, changes, and service improvements. Shall take ownership of in-scope incident resolution, including diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues. Shall provide network operations in accordance with agreed-upon service levels, response times, and performance metrics. Day-to-Day activities as recorded and tracked through Jira System within defined SLAs (see section V Service level Standards). Knowledge of Tools like Service-Now as Ticketing Tool and Grafana as Monitoring Tool. Periodic report generation and analysis. Communicate with users when needed or when there are updates from the respective teams. Maintain complete technical documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: A recognized Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering with 1-3 years of experience in the Network space across a highly diverse Enterprise Understanding of Basic Networking technologies. Good knowledge on OSI reference models. Good understanding of LAN WAN DNS DHCP ARP. Good to have CCNA certifications.
