Location: Mumbai ( Western Suburb) Job description Job Specification: (Qualifications, Experience) Bachelor in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering 5 - 7 years of experience in product development in engineering companies. Experience in a similar industry is desirable Key Competencies: Knowledge Knowledge of Engineering materials and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Engineering / Product Design documentation Knowledge of Autocad and any 3-D modeling software (Pro E or NX or similar) Knowledge of product documentation under ANSI, EN, BIS, and ISO 9001 system procedures Thorough knowledge of various Welding processes & Sheet metal fabrication Thorough knowledge of CNC Machining processes Skills Good analytical skills Good decision-making ability Problem-solving ability Effective Communication B. Key Responsibilities Design, development of new parts and products as per the organizations product development requirements Prepare and. test the prototypes as per approved drawings/concepts and secure acceptance of the final design Develop timelines and cost estimates for development tasks and appraise management of performance against the plan Provide input into the creation/ modification of Product Specifications, and product manuals installation, repair, and maintenance. Responsible for creating and maintaining engineering drawings Mapping of Product Development process to reflect cost optimization objectives. Responsible for upgrading existing product designs to reflect changing requirements of various standards (BSI, EN, ANSI) Assist in the vendor development process for adopting new manufacturing methods Interested candidates may email their CV to hidden_email
