DevOps Engineer GTAC @ Mobile Programming

Job Description

Purpose of the Role You will be a core member of the GTAC DevOps team. You will help the project team automate the Alepo products installation process and verify the checklist, ensuring the products are installed without any issues. You will be the technical expert in Alepos GTAC and Solution Integration teams. You will work on multiple projects and advanced technologies to improve automation in the installation process. You will be the face of Alepo at customer locations. Along with the project team, you will be responsible for delivering Alepo products and solutions, helping customers accomplish their business objectives. Skill Set: Education B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Science Engineering/Telecommunications from an accredited college or technical institute. Industry Experience 0 to 2 years Responsibilities Follow GTAC processes strictly Know and follow the patch/build installation process Troubleshoot 100% of issues assigned on JIRA related to. installing, configuring, and testing Alepo products Follow DevOps best practices Work on multiple projects and support activities Knowledge Areas Operating systems: Linux Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Perl Automation tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet CI tools: Git, Jenkins Third-party tools: Icinga, Collectd, Graphite, and others Cloud technologies: AWS, OpenStack, Docker Added Advantages Familiar with DOD (Definition of Done) Exposure to at least two new opensource technologies Openness to participate in the PoC of new open source Committed to ensuring bug-free products Dedicated to the source code in Bitbucket Ability to document the comments in source code and scripts Follow and introduce coding standards in the implementation
