Position Overview: As an Senior Functional Consultant, the incumbent will participate with a team of professionals whose mandate is to support VertexOne s clients day-to-day operational requirements along with below activities: Analyze business processes (Finance, Operations), functional requirement gathering and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsible for creating and examining functional specifications to create requirements. Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out of the box functionality as well as custom code. Able to identify our customers requirements and match them with technological capabilities and with Microsoft's continuous release plans. Participate in review meetings and change control planning meetings. Functional installation, configuration, Key user training and user acceptance testing. Create and Maintain documentation on all related processes and Functional design document (FDD. development. Primary Responsibilities: Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics F&O D365 - Finance. Experience as an implementation Sr. Consultant or analyst in the functional implementation of Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Experience of developing customized solutions to complex business problems Strong working knowledge of business processes. Relevant Microsoft certification. Working Knowledge of Financial reporting/Financial analytics. Provide a stable and secure environment supporting our application platform and service levels. Manage and follow up on issues until resolution and eliminate root cause. Participate in the periodic Hardware/Software refresh projects. Participate in on-going process improvement to ensure highly effective processes are being used to meet client needs. Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 production support. Provide backup support and assistance to other team members. Adherence to organizational processes and regulatory requirements Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Customer focus and Service Level focus Strong problem management and problem-solving skills Should be a strong team player.
