Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic senior software engineer to joinus as Team Lead, Software Engineering and lead Engineering team unitsand create a culture of Engineering Excellence in and outside the organisation.This role is central to our organisations success as both a market force and athought leader for driving cutting edge Engineering practices. You will bedirectly responsible for building the software running the platform that willpower the Indian hyperscale cloud ecosystem.
JobResponsibilities:
Leading frontend and backend Engineering teams by providingtactical and operational management oversight.
Ensuring consistency and predictability in Product deliveryand quality by developing sound SDLC standards, practices and processes.
Conducting timely reviews of all day-to-day Engineeringactivities and creating effective action plans to address any inadequaciesand/or shortcomings.
Technically guiding, implementing and building solutions bycreating and/or reviewing technology trends, software architectures,documentations, coding guidelines, sprints, release processes and qualitystandards.
Participating in Product strategy activities with internalstakeholders responsible for platform development.
Exploring and validating new technologies, patterns andpractices to incorporate into the software development process.
Good toHave Skill:
Needless to say, this role is a combination of provenexperience and the ability to think spontaneously. Well be evaluating yourcandidature on the following criteria:
5+ years of experience of working on Product development andsoftware Engineering.
A Product-driven mindset and approach to problem solving.
Strong leadership skills that can be applied within thefunction as well as cross-functionally.
Prior experience of technically developing solutions, softwarearchitectures and setting up SDLC practices.
Prior experience and/or aptitude towards open-sourcetechnologies and on-premise software deployments.
Strong technical knowledge and a core skill set consisting ofJavascript-based software development frameworks, tools, libraries andmethodologies.
Up to date knowledge on industry trends, best practices, andchange management.
Exceptional communication skills with clear verbal and writtenarticulation.
A proven track record of managing Engineering teams is a bonusqualification that will help your application.
