The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatileExperienced Software Developer C++/Linux/Python to join their ITDA Engineer Products Division in Bengaluru, Karnataka . The Engineering Product Design teamprovides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in house software application supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams.

Candidate will designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Proficient knowledge and proven work experience inbuilding software components into a fully functional software system in C++.
• Proficient knowledge of Linux and experience of C++ in LINUX OS, Shell Scripting.
• Proficient knowledge and working experiencein Java based Micro services and API development, Cloud technologies and Python is highly desirable.
• Must have experience with MySQL or any other relational databases. Good knowledge of database concepts, writing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
• Knowledge of integrating with Maven, GIT. Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages. Experience in best practices and Tools around CI/CD.
• Experience in understanding and interacting with multiple data formats.
• Ability to rapidly learn and understand software from source code.
• Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations.
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
• Extensive experience in collaborating within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/ Story creation as well as solution design and architecture.
• Ability to independently execute & deliver on the backlog without dependency or hand-holding.
• Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to earn trust, persuade, motivate and mentor other team members. Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and strong analytical and creative problem Solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution.
• At least 4 years of experience working in a multi-platform computing environment including the application development life cycle using agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), n-tier development and object-oriented design

• Knowledge of Agile development practices.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Typically, 4 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
