Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst/ Product Owner
Location: Bengaluru, KA 560043
Full-time role
The Business Analyst_ Product Owner collaborates with an agile delivery team to implement,
measure, and learn from the improvements they have made. The Product Owner manages execution of the
value stream product features and delivery roadmap for Travel that are aligned to KPIs that measure the
objectives of both internal and external stakeholders.
The Product Owner also serves as the scrum master for their delivery team by enabling the team to self-
organize, remove impediments, and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous
delivery, and continuous improvement. This position will have a focus on API implementation quality,
orchestration, design, and analytics.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
Supports business strategy by forming a backlog of features and user stories for use by the delivery team.
Effectively uses data and insights from multiple sources that benefits the business and our members.
Works collaboratively and uses best practices with the delivery team to support backlog refinement,
sprint planning, and long-term release planning.
Delivers and communicates service-related requirements to delivery team(s).
Delivers agreed upon services in line with roadmap through effective management of delivery teams,
testing, documentation etc.
Articulates requirements for each user story with detailed acceptance criteria.
Seeks to improve processes across the entire product team.
Ensures completed stories meet acceptance criteria by reviewing test plans, the output of automated
testing or, where necessary, contributing to manual testing efforts.
Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders and levels of management.
Stays current on Product Ownership and apply product development and agile delivery practices.
Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Bachelor Degree in a business or technology subject
Master Degree is preferred
Qualification
Required:
Experience with a Travel technology organization is preferred.
4+ years current experience working within a complex software development environment (project management (Scrum Master), Business Analysis, and Quality assurance or related areas)
3+ years current experience working on a Scrum and/or Agile team
3+ years experience with creating documentation for communication with varied audiences
Deep understanding of business requirements elicitation pursuant to specific programs/projects involved
Proficient in requirements gathering, business modeling, project scoping, and use case creation
Preferred:
Experience defining and leading the delivery of an API portfolio that is consumable by both internal and
external parties.
Familiar with Soap and Rest API Design, OpenAPI / Swagger, GraphQL, JSON and XML, ControlM, AWS resources (S3, SQS, SNS and Lambda), Jira
Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, User acceptance Testing and API Testing
