We are looking for a Sr Marketing Specialist to join the Sophos India SAARC Marketing team
This role reports directly to the Sr Regional Marketing Manager, India SAARC and works closely with across many parts of the APJ and Global Marketing teams - including the Regional Marketing Management, Global Marketing Operations Digital programs, and SDR Teams
Key relationships at a local level are primarily with the Indian Sales Channel organization
As a Sr Marketing Specialist, you will plan, develop, implement, execute, and measure the results of marketing campaigns and programs targeted at Sophos s large network of resellers and distributors
As part of a highly collaborative India team you will be required to conduct programs and activities targeted directly at end users for example attendance at tradeshows, webinars and events and ensuring demand generation activities are relevant and executed successfully through our channel
For this position we are seeking a motivated team-player who is an organized, result-driven, creative marketer who has ideally already had the chance to work in a Marketing / Channel Marketing role for a global B2B Technology company
What you will do
Deliver the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of all demand generation campaigns and events, end user (customer and prospect) communications, and channel programs.
Be responsible for scheduling, organizing, and rolling out the India specific large and small format end user and channel events, trade shows, sponsorship events, webinar programs including reporting and results communications.
Work with the APJ Integrated Campaigns and global social media team to schedule, localize and execute issues led and product driven marketing campaigns that will increase Sophos position in the market.
Understand, measure and report on demand generation campaign to optimize generation of new logo leads and work closely with Sales Development team to ensure strong conversion to Sales Opportunities, which in turn generates ROI, contributing to the marketing targets.
Deliver against Channel Marketing activities for the India SAARC region as required to support the growth plan for the region and increase engagement with the channel.
Review results with these partners alongside local Sales and report back on key performance metrics and results, ensuring an adequate ROI for any MDF budget allocated.
Where necessary work with our Channel Service Centre (CSC) to adapt corporate campaigns and provide co-branded versions for resellers, ensuring our channel is kept continually updated on marketing content available from Sophos.
Become a champion user of the internal Marketing Tech Tools Sophos has rolled out to ensure efficiency across all aspects of marketing execution (including collaboration with centralized marketing operations teams)
Work effectively as part of the Field Marketing team contributing to overall team success and suggesting improvements to maximize performance.
What you will bring
Experience of B2B demand generation and Channel Marketing in similar industry
Must have a track record of working proactively with sales and channel teams
Experience and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, B2B growth organisation
Ability to implement and measure a marketing plan
Good understanding of and experience in all elements of the marketing mix
An aptitude for problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, with multiple global stakeholders
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
5-8 years minimum experience in a Marketing role
