Job Description Role : Linux Admin - L3 Location : Navi Mumbai Who are we looking for A Linux Admin to manage a critical project for one of our biggest client in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in administration of Windows Servers (2003 server till Latest version), Production Support (24X7), Maintenance and Operation Monitoring at customer site Linux system administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with development team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. He will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of his own, and solving them accordingly. Technical Skills 4 to 7 years of experience of Linux Admin Experience with Linux servers (RHEL) in virtualized environments Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages Experience installing, configuring, and. maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, Oracle, nginx, etc. Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc. Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as vSphere. Ability to build and monitor services on production servers. Knowledge of servers and switches. Knowledge of frameworks like Apache Tomcat, Oracle Java, PHP and their libraries Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools Develop and maintain application configuration management solutions Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure Process Skills Willing to work in Shifts Work Schedule (Six days working in a week) Preferably from Navi Mumbai Area. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi Documentation skills A strong attention to detail Shares information, knowledge and insights readily with other team members Professional demeanor when at customer site Behavioral Skills Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
