Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Moodle Developer Consultant to join our team on a project basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining our Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) to meet the evolving needs of our university clients. This includes the development of custom plugins, themes, and integration of third-party tools and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Moodle development, along with experience in customization and plugin development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain our Moodle LMS to meet the evolving needs of university clients.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions.
• Develop custom plugins and themes to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Moodle platform.
• Integrate third-party tools and applications into the Moodle LMS to extend its capabilities.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to university clients as required.
• Stay up to date with the latest Moodle developments and best practices.
• Document processes and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Moodle development, including customization and plugin development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with web services and integrating third-party APIs into Moodle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
