Trainee Software Engineer - Chennai - BNP @ BNP Paribas

Job Description

• Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the teams goal.
• The current requirement is to on board a candidate, who can support onboarding of new users to our Application
• The associate will be working in one of the strategic projects of BNP Paribas and will help in enhancing applications to be used by Corporate Clients
• The candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and experience in multi-geographical work model

• Should have both verbal and written communication skills
• Should be able to understand user requirements and resolve their access issues
• Adhere to project process and guidelines
• Discuss with Production support team for any user queries
• Support Application validation for specific functionalities
• Able to develop reports using Excel graphs and pie charts

• Track user requests and provide appropriate reports to Management
• Support testing team in completing some regression tests

• Basic Excel skills to track user requests and generate reports
• Basic knowledge of SQL to write simple Select Update queries

• Must have good communication skills
• Basic knowledge in any defect tracking tools / Jira
