Job Description

  • Maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget and resource requirements
  • Tracking and monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, budget and quality expectations and making prioritization decisions as required
  • Working closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives
  • Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to commitments
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration
  • Fostering a positive team culture and provide guidance to the team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks, issues and challenges
  • Maintaining open and transparent communication with project stakeholders across various levels of the organization to drive accountability, escalation and awareness
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure that projects meet specified quality criteria
  • Implementing project management best practices and methodologies to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Implementing continuous improvement strategies within your project team
  • Identifying potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project team members
  • Applying subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings
  • Effectively balancing competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, timeline, budget, quality, resources, and risks/issues, to ensure project success
  • Connecting project objectives to broader organizational goals
  • Negotiating with internal teams to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution
  • Driving the appropriate levels of project governance to ensure risks, issues, and critical dependencies are being addressed
  • Ensuring that all projects follow the standard procedures that are used in the management and deployment of projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience as a Project Manager (IT preferred)
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including Agile
  • Strong leadership, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, assertive with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders and groups
  • Excellent judgment, decision making, and possessing the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience with presenting to executive level leadership
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, adapting quickly to ever-changing environments
  • English language skills on a professional level (technical and business content)
  • Experience in managing IT projects with Atlassian software tools
    • MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred
  • Experience with SAP software

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including Agile
