Python Software Developer @ Spring Computing

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Python web applications

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code using Django and Python

• Optimize application performance and responsiveness
• Design and manage database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity and scalability

Implement security and data protection best practices

• Create RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data exchange between systems
• Write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Pytest, Behave, or Djangos test suite Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Python and Django development

Preferred candidate profile

BE in CS / IT, MSc CS, MCS, MCA Science

2-5 years of experience in Python and Django framework

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles

Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integrating them into Django templates

Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations

Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapping), migrations, and Django admin customization

Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS

Familiarity with asynchronous programming and Django Channels
