Job Description

The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in our Edtech organization as they are responsible for driving sales and revenue growth. This role is essential in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring the success of our sales team. The Sales Manager will lead and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
  • Manage and monitor sales performance, providing regular performance reports to leadership
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and negotiation
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute effective sales campaigns
  • Ensure that sales processes and tools are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential challenges and opportunities
  • Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of the sales team
  • Set and monitor sales targets for individual team members
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our products and services
  • Collaborate with other department heads to optimize overall business performance
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales team
Required Qualifications:
  • bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in sales management within the Edtech or related industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and draw actionable insights
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making capabilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Proven ability to drive a culture of high performance and accountability
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Certification in Sales or related field is a plus
