Lead Cloud Ops Microsoft Azure
Locations: Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore
Maximum Rate: 20.5-21 LPA
Experience:8-10 Years
Joining max within 15-30 days
Focused Cloud skills Build and setup Cloud operating model, Cloud migrations (IaaS, PaaS), Azure infrastructure architecture and operations.
Technical Minimum:
- 5+ years relevant work experience in development, architecture, and/or technical consulting, Managed services for Cloud.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in building & leading successful teams.
- Knowledge of the current Cloud industry and technical trends therein.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert a must - with the ability to map relevant IT technology solutions to New customer's IT and business needs and priorities.
- Understands and can effectively communicate the value provided by New client and partner products or services represented. Able to talk about the technology and the interrelationship between the products and services.
- Deep understanding of our competitive landscape and Microsoft portfolio
- Ability to build solutions leveraging modern cloud services.
- 3+ years experience with Azure solutions
Main responsibilities
- Drive process refinement through increased automation & documentation, specifically with a deep understanding of auto scaling, serverless architecture and near zero down time deployments
- Experience implementing key performance indicators and capacity planning metrics to ensure cost savings opportunities in CSPs are realized.
- Experience Developing/Implementing programmatical controls in relation to security recommendations on current and future Azure platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide operational leadership to the Cloud Engineering team to ensure on time project completion.
- Experience with leading a team of engineers, with a focus on goal setting, mentoring and time management.
- Experience in coordinating project staffing that meets team needs and supports direct reports project interests and goals.
- Experience training and mentoring junior staff as a reporting manager, as well as through internal training efforts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Designing and implementing strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
- ITIL understanding with relevant ITIL qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
- Knowledge and experience with DevOps concepts and principles (CI/CD).
- Experience with Azure CLI/ Bash scripting and Power Shell is a plus.
- DevOps organization administration knowledge and experience are required.
- Willingness to create a proof of concepts, present, develop, test, operationalize, and support solutions that automate tasks.
- Proven experience in working on Enterprise projects with Terraform is desirable.
- Microsoft Azure Certification its a plus.
- Azure Bicep knowledge constitutes an advantage.
- Analytical, conceptual, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize actions, identify possible improvements, and adapt to a changing environment.
