Oracle MDM Developer - Hyderabad @ Larsen & Toubro

• About the Role
• Senior Developer position is primarily responsible to work on Oracle Utilities Implementation, Maintenance, Support and Testing Projects for Oracle Utilities Clients. Using their prior knowledge in Java and J2EE and Utilities Framework, Configuration Tools (if any), this developer will work as part of team with other developer, project and delivery managers. MDM developer with expertise in MDM, C2M and prepaid billing to join our team.
• Responsibilities
• Work as part of the project team responsible for converting the External Design into Internal Design Specifications that will be used by Developers to program the system.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high quality programs within agreed budgets and time frames.
• Ensure that External Designs stay in sync with Global Delivery Center entrance criteria before proceeding with Internal Design activities
• Liaise with External Designers and participate with design walkthroughs; discuss/explain functional requirements and dissect into logical functional sections.
• Convert External Designs into Internal Design Specifications (pseudo code, edit rules, decision logic, etc.) that will be used by Developers to program the system; varying the level of specification based on the skills of the proposed programming team to ensure that the idea is clearly understood by the Developer
• Develop/review detailed estimates for Design and Development phases based on functional requirements.
• Need Java and groovy knowledge to write batches and groovy scripting.
• Work with the Project Manager to create a budget and project plan for the Internal Design, Development, Testing, and Support effort
• Perform quality and functional reviews during the Design and Development phases
• Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager

Qualifications/Experience:

B.Tech./B.E. in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience with cloud-based integration platforms such as AWS API Gateway or Azure API Management.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experienced in Batch and groovy scripting.

• Skills

Must have skills:

Proven working experience as a function lead in oracle utilities meter data management.

Strong knowledge on MDM/ C2M.

Proficient in working with IWS services.

Ability to understand requirements, documents & do discussions with client.

Able to create External Design Documents and conceptual solutions in MDM with reference to Requirements.

Sound knowledge in MDM areas of VEE Rules, Device Management, Usage Management, Measuring Components, Device Events , Device Communication , Usage Subscription, TOU, IMD , XML formats.

Certification in Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management.

Converting detailed design specifications into high quality working programs; maintain existing software enhancements and customer interfaces.

Hands on development experience using OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework) and Java.

Experience with API testing frameworks and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Knowledge of database systems and SQL.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
