Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Branch Credit Manager to join our microfinance business. Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of our microfinance clients- JLG Loans and ensuring that loans are disbursed in compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in the microfinance industry and a strong understanding of the credit assessment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting credit assessments of microfinance clients
- Evaluating loan applications and making recommendations based on credit risk analysis
- Preparing loan documents and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Providing guidance to clients on financial management and loan repayment
- Ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of loans
- Monitoring loan repayment and following up with clients on delinquent accounts
- Collaborating with other team members to improve credit processes and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and reports on loan portfolio performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the microfinance industry in Credit or Audit departments
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of credit risk analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with microfinance regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and loan management software
