Job Description
Responsibilities :
- 8 to 10 yrs of relevant exp Tomcat, Apache and Linux support- Mandatory.
- Knowledge of SQL, Shell scripting, SSL and TLS.
- Middleware Knowledge is a must.
- Understanding of Web Request on above Web Servers.
- Would be required to support release application fixes and major/minor releases.
- Need to possess diagnosing and solving software faults skill.
- Responsible to report and track post product bugs, fixes and enhancement related along with product development team.
- Responsible to work on updating incident, remediation task, Problem root cause analysis task in ServiceNow application.
- Required to participate in change management activities.
- Should possess ability to communicate with end users and capture tickets/incidents related to application over phone/IM.
- Should be available for on-call support as needed.
- Responding to call outs in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- BE Computer Science or related technical degree or work experience.
- Should have experience on working on highly available system either in on-premise hosting or cloud hosting model.
- Strong communication skills and active listening.
- Strong teamwork ethic willing to jump in to assist others.
- Accountability, Ownership and Commitment to quality and deadlines.
- An independent worker who will take the initiative to ensure goals are met.
- Ability to work under pressure with changing objectives and deadlines.
- Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
- Highly reliable and organized with strong attention to details, with ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks.
- Willing to work in shifts and weekends.
