Job Description
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
What Youll Do:
- Constant focus on velocity, continuous improvement, engineering, and operational excellence.
- Interact with other Walmart Engineering and Data Science teams across geographies to drive shift left of quality and contribute to the quality best practices.
- Cross-collaborate with the inter-disciplinary program, product and engineering teams to assist in prioritization and estimation of requirements and assist is delivering scope of work.
- The candidate is expected to contribute in a hands-on fashion on the project as well as take ownership of various project deliverables.
- Lead the Grooming, Planning, Review and Retrospective meetings with project team.
- Manage JIRA stories for business and track the progress
- Track and report project progress to the management team
- Create and manage weekly & monthly Agile Compliance reports Work with business and IT team to plan & coordinate release of features
- Work closely with Data team, Business & QA teams to ensure story readiness.
- Experience to provide training to the team on the agile methodologies.
- Ability to resolve conflict with a continual focus on the Scrum values of openness, honesty, commitment, courage, and respect Adept at identifying and removing impediments slowing the Development team down, as well as shielding the team from external interruptions and distractions
- Design, develop and maintain actionable reports and dashboards for continuous improvements.
- Assist Engineering teams on continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for different applications/environments for faster and high quality releases in agile methodology.
- Design and apply agile practices, processes and standards.
- Prior experience in Project Management and Scrum Master.
What youll bring:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 6-8 years of hands on experience working in Quality Engineering.
- Experience in Retails projects in highly desired.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence etc.
- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial.
