About the Role
The English Teacher will work in Municipal schools and helps us to implement the English for All Program that aims at empowering students with English language skills and confidence. The English for All Program uses the LRSW technique to teach English to students. It focuses on 3 major areas to teach English to the students:-
Phonics
Spoken English
English Grammar
Responsibilities:
Conducting the Phonics and English Classes for the class assigned.
Deliver Unit plans and Lesson plans for their classes as laid out in the Resource Book provided by the Team.
Conducting activities for students to ensure maximum learning.
Conducting Assessments at regular intervals of time in a fair and just manner.
Collect Student data namely assessment & attendance
Applying the feedback and training in classes conducted at schools.
Conduct parents-teachers meeting at regular intervals of time.
Checking books/ worksheets of the students regularly.
Interact with the parents of the students regularly and update them on the progress of their children.
Giving constructive feedback to the Lead Program Managers about the Program.
Build healthy relations with the Government School teachers, School Management, Parents and Children.
Qualification:
Graduate in any field.
ECCED certificate will be added advantage.
Work Experience & Skills:
Experience of School teaching would be preferred
Knowledge of Phonetics will be preferred.
Fluency in Spoken & Written English is a must
Classroom Management skills
Communication Skills.
