Company: IT Services Organization Key Skills: Ansible, Kubernetes, GCP, Python, DevOps, GKE Roles and Responsibilities: GCP Infrastructure Design: Lead the design and architecture of cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP, including VPC networking, GCP Load balancers, Instance Groups, VMs, Cloud SQL, IAM, Cloud Storage, and GCS Data transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design systems that meet business objectives. GKE Expertise: Implement and manage GKE clusters, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of containerized applications. Optimize GKE configurations for performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness. Automation and CI/CD: Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and testing processes. Implement best practices for building and deploying containerized applications within GKE. Monitoring and Scaling: Configure monitoring and alerting systems for. real-time visibility into the health and performance of GKE clusters and applications. Automate scaling based on performance metrics to ensure optimal resource utilization. Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce security best practices for GCP environments, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption. Ensure GKE clusters comply with industry standards and internal security policies. High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Backup: Implement high-availability solutions for GCP Infrastructure services and GKE clusters to minimize service downtime. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. Manage GCE backups using GCP native Snapshots, VM Image, and Disk Image using Cloud Functions. Possess GCP certification. Skills Required: Strong proficiency in Ansible, Kubernetes, GCP, Python, and DevOps principles. Experience with GKE clusters management and optimization. Proficiency in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance requirements. Experience with monitoring, scaling, high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. GCP certification is required
