Job Description: Build and maintain our infrastructure as code on large scale multi-site deployments. Design and implement new tools and processes to automate configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational activities using cloud infrastructure DevOps best practices and security-first principles. Actively participate in team architecture and code reviews for design and implementation of scalable software and infrastructure-as-code; continuously seek opportunities for reuse and efficiency, automation, and testing capabilities. Troubleshoot issues until root causes are understood on high traffic production systems Automation and management of infrastructure services, application deployments, cloud services, monitoring, and databases Drive continual improvements for availability, performance, observability, quality, and cost effectiveness. Develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy software in a cloud native platform (Azure, Kubernetes) Collaborate with R&D users. and understand their needs / expectations while enforcing best practices. Be a reference for best practices in architecting, scaling, and deploying data intensive applications. Stay current on technology and domain trends, frameworks, and cutting-edge technology. Passion for customers, learning, proven ability to be client focused, results-focused, proactive, collaborative, and confident under pressure. Documentation & mentoring other team members. Primary Skills 5+ years of experience in enterprise level Cloud infrastructure and Operations Hands-on experience with SaaS environment Strong background in DevOps concepts and tools; well-disciplined in continuous integration and delivery, change management. Experience in high availability and distributed systems, Linux, Automation, troubleshooting and support activities. Experience with version control systems such as Git Experience on Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Azure ARM Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, DNS, TLS) Experience with Software Release Deployment and Automating the lifecycle A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment with Agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Comfortable working remotely with people in other geographic regions Secondary Skills: Previous Experience on Analytics/Reporting Platform Cloud native deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform Experience with Big Data Ecosystem specializing in some of the following: Spark, Delta Lake, Data Lakes, Hadoop, Kafka, Storm, Zookeeper, Event Hub Fluent coding experience in one or more of the following: Python, Scala, SQL, R, Java Advanced Analytics including Azure Data Bricks, visualization tools as Tableau, Power BI Previous experience with RDBMS and NO-SQL Databases - ORACLE, Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, Mongo, HBASE, Cosmos DB Experience with ELK Stack A knack for analyzing and improving processes using data and automation
