Job Title: Structural/Civil Engineer Department: Engineering Reports To: Senior Engineer / Project Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural/Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and management of infrastructure and building projects. This includes ensuring that projects are completed within budget and time constraints while adhering to safety standards and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities and Duties: Design and analyze structural components of buildings, bridges, and other structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory requirements. Prepare and review engineering documents, including reports, plans, and construction drawings, ensuring they are accurate and. comply with standards. Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of projects and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and construction managers to discuss and solve complex engineering problems. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis programs to model and simulate the behavior of structural systems. Evaluate existing buildings and structures to assess their condition and determine necessary repairs or modifications. Stay current with industry trends, materials, codes, and regulations affecting the field of structural and civil engineering. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technical staff. Participate in project meetings and present findings and progress reports to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
