Job Description
Position: Senior Site Engineer ( 6 to 10 years).
Position Summary:
The role will include
1) Should ensure that the person can independently handle the works allotted at site.
2) Should have a minimum experience of 6 to 10 years.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day execution of the entrusted works as per the approved plans.
- Provide effective supervision to carry out the work as per the contract specifications.
- Periodically report the progress of works, issues needing decisions from clients / the section in charge.
- Optimum utilization of resources for achieving the targeted production.
- Maintain proper records for billing, utilization of resources etc.
- Co-ordinate with sub-contractor, PRW for achieving production targets.
- Maintain the quality of works & ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Ensure compliance of quality, safety and environment.
- Maintain proper discipline and punctuality at site.
- Identify the areas for waste reduction and act on ways and measures to minimize the wastage.
- To check lines, levels and marking of walls, slabs, columns etc.
Engineering Role.
- To monitor the work progress by controlling the workmen.
- To achieve the work targets as allotted in terms of concrete, block work, plasting etc.
- Supervising sub-contractors and staff.
- Coordinate all agencies at site and manage smooth flow of work.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Maintain all attendance details of all workmen.
- Should send all material indents, equipment requirement, labour requirement as per schedule to head office.
Critical for the role:
- Proficiency in MS office
- Excellent communication skills English and regional language.
- Disciplined, Hardworking, committed and genuinely interested in contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of organization functioning.
- Eager to learn, adaptable and flexible, willing to work with and through others
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate in Bachelor of engineering Civil (BE / BTech-Civil).
Min 6 to 10 years of work experience preferred.
