Job Description

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting to the emergency department, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Medical Treatment: Provide timely and appropriate medical treatment and interventions for a wide range of acute medical conditions, trauma cases, and critical emergencies.
• Emergency Procedures: Perform emergency procedures, including intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, and procedural sedation, as necessary.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and hospital protocols.
• Patient Education: Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about their condition, treatment options, and discharge instructions in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Teaching and Learning: Participate actively in educational activities, including didactic sessions, case conferences, and simulation exercises, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills in emergency medicine.
• Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department, participating in performance reviews, clinical audits, and research projects to improve patient care and safety.
