Job Description
- As a Knowledge Management Platform Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our knowledge bases quality, accuracy, and relevance
- Reporting to the SrDirector of Knowledge Management, your responsibilities will focus on maintaining the integrity of our knowledge management platform and fostering a collaborative and user-friendly environment
- Moderate user-generated content by reviewing, approving, editing, or rejecting submissions based on established guidelines and policies.
- Ensure content alignment with user guidelines, company standards, and legal requirements.
- Adhere to SLA timelines for content moderation to maintain the platforms responsiveness. Review and publish user-generated content within the SLA timelines.
- Maintain the organization and structure of the knowledge base by properly tagging, categorizing, and archiving content.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address outdated, redundant, or irrelevant information.
- Promote high-quality contributions by providing feedback and guidance to users on content creation, formatting, and tagging best practices.
- Monitor user activity and interactions, address concerns or issues, and escalate violations or misconduct as necessary.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and content owners to validate the accuracy and completeness of knowledge assets.
- Analyze user feedback, usage metrics, and platform analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation on moderation processes, guidelines, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in knowledge management and content moderation.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content moderation, knowledge management, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proficient understanding of knowledge management platforms, content management systems, and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with tagging, categorization, and metadata management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and handle sensitive situations tactfully.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns and trends.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and processes.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as privacy laws and intellectual property rights.
