DevOps + ELK Engineer
Job Description
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the following categories in the high-level
- CI/CD pipelines management Jenkins / GitHub actions / Azure DevOps.
- IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform, targeting the Azure.
- DevSecOps following the best practices in Security Operations for DevOps
- Azure the environment is basically set up in Azure. So, experience in Azure is required.
- Support tickets will be raised against the DevOps components involved, which should be handled swiftly.
- Scripting The pipeline / automation / few tasks, will be requiring the scripting knowledge like shell script, PowerShell script etc.,
- Linux / Windows since the environment has a mixture of Operating Systems, proficiency in both will be an advantage.
- ELK - specializing in Elastic: data collection and ingestion, analysis and insight generation, ELK stack performance tuning and stability.
- Must handle the client calls, as per the requirement. So effective communication is required.
Technical Skills
- CI/Cd pipeline development platforms Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub actions etc.,
- Experienced in creating / managing Azure resources like Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Subnets, Storage Accounts, Kubernetes (AKS) etc., are required.
- Terraform defining and consuming modules, handling variables as per environment, state management, running Terraform scripts in CI/CD pipeline etc.,
- ELK experienced in implementing ELK, managing ELK, hands-on in data ingestion, setting analytics, generating reports/insights, monitoring the ELK stack and do changes as required for stability.
- Having good handle in the Shell and PowerShell scripting.
- Proficiency in Source Code Management (SCM) tools Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps
Qualifications:
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub actions, Azure, Terraform, Shell script, PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, management etc.,
Education:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on DevOps side is preferred.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in Azure, DevOps, ELK Stack management and DevSecOps related tasks.
