Software Development Test Engineer @ Thyrocare

Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our

team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and

executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our

software products. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will work closely with the

product and development team to identify test scenarios, create test scripts, and

automate test cases to streamline the testing process.Experience with AI-powered test

automation tools or frameworks is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements

and develop comprehensive test plans.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate test results.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to

the development team.

• Design and implement automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and

technologies.

• Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites to accommodate changes

in software functionality.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in test automation and

incorporate them into our testing processes.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Expertised in at least one programming language (Java / Python).
• Proficiency in at least one of the Databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Rest Assured, PlayWrite/Selenium, or

Appium.

• Knowledge of performance test tools such as Jmeter or Gatling.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and

practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Working knowledge or experience in AI/ML-based testing frameworks is an

added advantage.
