Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Leverage APIs native to Collibra DQ to extract data from the Collibra DQ's metastore.
- Develop scripts to automate extracts of DQ issues from Collibra, providing executive summary views to leadership and business owners.
- Join datasets using pandas to create comprehensive Excel reports for business data stewards detailing DQ issues.
- Integrate with ServiceNow to automate the assignment of DQ tickets to domain-based SMEs, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Utilize Python skills, especially with pandas and DataFrames, to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Develop and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL development, particularly in Postgres and Snowflake Data Warehouse environments.
- Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Utilize experience with ServiceNow or similar tools to integrate data quality processes into the IT service management framework.
- Configure Postgres Database integration and Email SMTP for automated ticket assignments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements related to data quality.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing data quality processes, systems, and data sources to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data quality metrics and rules according to clients requirements
- Work closely with technical teams, including solution developers and data engineers, to ensure effective implementation of data quality solutions.
